Screw extrusion briquette machine for biomass
The screw press technology is applied to manufacturing of briquettes from the materials which are capable to gain plastic properties under the influence of pressure created with the screw on entering the mould, as well as with moisture and oil level of these materials.
Availability of moisture is necessary for such materials as peat, coal dust and lignin. Moisture level should be about 40-65%. On the outlet of extruder such briquettes are soft like plasticine. So they should be dried naturally or with the conveyor-band drier.
Fat-containing materials are sunflower waste, rape waste and soy waste with oil content level from 3% to 7%. The briquettes received from these raw materials don't demand additional drying, but it’s necessary to let them cool before packing.
Manning level for the given Green Bull brand and additional equipment is three persons.
